Plans, credits and data
What Free, Pro and Max include, and where your work is stored.
This chapter is the reference: what each plan includes, how AI credits are spent, and what changes at an upgrade or a downgrade.
Three plans#
| Free | Pro | Max | |
|---|---|---|---|
| History up to | 2025 | Now | Now |
| Symbols | 20 | 800+ | 800+ |
| Smallest timeframe | 1 minute | 1 second / tick | 1 second / tick |
| Charts side by side | 2 | 12 | 12 |
| Charting tools | Basic | All | All |
| Custom timeframes | — | Yes | Yes |
| Trades per backtest | 10 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Trades per month | 100 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| AI credits | 200 / month | 1,000 / period | 4,000 / period |
| Custom data | 5 MB | 1 GB | 5 GB |
| Strategy versions | Single line | Branch and compare | Branch and compare |
Pro is $12/month or $120/year; Max is $28/month or $240/year. Settings → Billing is the source of truth for what you would actually be charged.
How credits are spent#
AI is billed per action:
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Generate a strategy, an indicator, or infer rules from trades | 10 |
| Run a backtest | 5 |
| Explain a result | 5 |
A full generate → run → explain loop costs 20. The free 200 is about ten such loops.
Free credits refill on the 1st of each month (UTC); paid plans refill at the start of each subscription period. The balance is shown at the top of the account menu and in Settings → Billing.
Backtests also have trade limits: on Free, 10 per run and 100 per month. When a run hits the cap, the result card says where it stopped instead of presenting a partial result as a whole one.
Where data lives#
Once signed in:
- Conversations, strategies and versions, backtest sessions, runs, custom indicators, custom data → account
- Chart colours, layout proportions, shortcuts, recent charts, custom timeframes, AI model preference → browser (device state)
Device state is namespaced per account: switching accounts on one machine does not carry a layout across, and does not upload the previous account's sessions.
Upgrades, downgrades and retention#
Upgrade keeps everything and unlocks more: strategy versions can branch, history extends to today, custom-data capacity grows.
Downgrade or expiry narrows features, but data does not vanish immediately. On Free:
- History older than 7 days is no longer listed
- Only records older than 90 days may actually be deleted
Resubscribe inside that window and the history comes back exactly as it was. The gap between "hidden" and "deleted" is deliberate.
AI runs and manual sessions are different things#
- An AI run is a reproducible record: rules, assumptions and engine version are kept, so it can be compared and exported
- A manual session is a process: each order was a decision you made inside that history
To connect the two, use Open in chart on a result card to materialize the run as a manual session and step through it.
After this tutorial#
- To practise: pick a symbol in Explore and start a replay
- To test an idea: describe it in agent mode on Home
- To organize existing trading: import a CSV, or use Turn into a strategy on your trades
If something is unclear or wrong, Feedback in the account menu comes straight to us.
